Bill Gates is the co-founder of Microsoft with his childhood friend Paul Allen.

During his career at Microsoft, Gates has held positions such as president, chief executive officer (CEO), president and chief software architect.

He was also the largest individual stockholder in Microsoft as of May 2014.

Bill Gates is considered one of the most famous entrepreneurs of the microcomputer revolution of the 1970s and 1980s.

Early life of Bill Gates –

Early in Bill Gates’ life, Gates observed that his parents wanted him to pursue a career in law.

The family encouraged the competition, with one guest noting that “it doesn’t matter if you’re swimming on herts or pickleball or dock. There is always a reward to win and always a penalty to lose.

At the age of 13, Bill Gates attended private Lakeside Prep School.

When he was in eighth grade, the school’s Mothers Club used the money from Lakeside School’s Ramage sale to purchase a teletype Model 33 ASR terminal and computer time block on a General Electric (GE) computer for students.

Gates took an interest in making programming the GE system basic, and was waived from math classes to pursue his interest.

He wrote his first computer program on this machine, which is a tic-tac-toe implementation that allowed users to play games against computers. Bill Gates developed an interest in machines and began to wonder how he always designed code actuaries.

Gates has an older sister, Christy (Christian), and a younger sister, Libby.

He is the fourth name in his family but is known as William Gates III or “Trey” (meaning three) because his father had the suffix “II”.

The family lived in Seattle’s Sand Point neighborhood in a house damaged by a rare hurricane when Gates was seven years old.

Education of Bill Gates –

Bill Gates was very good at studies from an early age and possessed extraordinary talent.

From the beginning, he was very fond of studies, so he studied alone at home for hours.

In 1968, his parents enrolled him in a private school, Lakesite.

At first, Bill Gates was proficient in all subjects, but his subjects were mathematics and science.

He was also involved in other school activities.

From the time computers were taught to school children, Bill Gates’ interest in computers began to grow, he started spending most of his time with computers.

Later, at the age of 13, Bill Gates became proficient in programming and also made a software program i.e. programming computer.

It was known as “Tic-Tac-Tow”. After that, Bill Gates was constantly struggling to do something new and make programming on the computer.

When he arrived at high school, he also computerized the payroll system there. While in high school, Bill Gates became good friends with Paul Allen, a senior student.

Both of them used to do something in the school’s computer system for the purpose of learning, so the computer company started bothering them for some time.It was restricted.

A few days later, he regained permission to go to the computer room. But they got it on the condition that they would go there and remove all the errors from the program.

During that time, Bill Gates created a “Traf-O-Data” program with his friend.

The program worked with traffic and helped plan it.

Bill Gates earned $20,000 for making the program, his first earnings.

After finishing school in 1973, Bill Gates attended Howard College.

Most of his time in college was spent with computers.

He later dropped out of college and decided to go into business with his friend Alan.

Microsoft Established

While in school, Bill Gates became adept at making computers, and at the age of 20, he founded Microsoft in 1975 with his friend Paul Allen.

Today, the company has become the world’s largest company, initially creating the popular micro-computer programming language “Basic”.

He later began developing programming languages and operating systems for other companies. So, in a short span of time, microsoft company was known everywhere.

Microsoft And IBM Deal

Later in 1980, IBM (International Business Machine), one of the world’s largest companies, offered microsoft a deal to build basic software for IBM’s new personal computer.

After this deal, Bill Gates’ company created the PC Doc operating system for IBM.

Windows operating system Installed –

Bill Gates announced Microsoft Windows on November 10, 1983, and two years later launched the Microsoft Windows operating system in 1985.

In the years that followed, their operating system Windows took over all the personal computers in the world.
