Shocking confession of Shoaib Akhtar! His controversial behavior

Rate this post

After Pakistan’s heavy defeat in the Super Four stage of the Asia Cup against India, former Pakistan cricketer Shoaib Akhtar recently posted a video praising India after the defeat. In this video, he is Kuldeep Yadav, K. L Rahul, Bumrah are seen appreciating. In this video, Akhtar has expressed his belief that “Pakistan cannot be thrown out of the game by one match, Pakistan will surely make a comeback”. While this video of Shoaib Akhtar is also in discussion, the video of an old interview is also raising eyebrows.

Shoaib Akhtar, who took 178 wickets in 46 Tests and 247 wickets in 163 ODIs for Pakistan, not only created many great miracles on all the cricket grounds of the world, but also created as many or more controversies as the records he created. His name. This player was often called the ‘Bad Boy’ of cricket. While cricket is known as a gentleman’s game, Akhtar’s boasting about his mistakes in this video did not convince many. Let’s find out what exactly this case is.

This video is from a June 2022 interview with Sportskeeda. He has made controversial claims during this interview. In it, Shoaib Akhtar talked about the third Test match played between India and Pakistan at the National Stadium in 2006. In this interview, he has admitted that the former Pakistan fast bowler intentionally hurt the Indian players during the match.

He says, he deliberately threw a ‘beamer’ at Mahendra Singh Dhoni during the Faizalabad Test match between India and Pakistan in 2006. Dhoni is a good man and I respect him. I felt very sorry for him. Had the ball hit Dhoni, he would have been seriously injured in 2005 itself. Shoaib Akhtar further says in this video that I really wanted to hurt Sachin in a match. I was trying to do the same, determined to hurt him at any cost. Inzamam-ul-Haq then asked me to bowl in front of the wickets, but I continued my effort. I deliberately hit the ball on his helmet. When he hit it, I thought he (Sachin) would be dead but, I watched the replay and realized that the ball hit his forehead…then I tried to hurt him again.

What is beamer bowling?

In Beamer, the ball does not bounce as the bowler throws the ball high. In such a case a no ball is given first and the bowler is informed. If the offense is repeated during the match he may be barred from bowling for the rest of the match. Akhtar did it deliberately despite knowing that throwing the beamer could hurt the batsman. While cricket is known as a gentleman’s game, many were not convinced by Akhtar’s boasting about his mistake in this video.

Controversial behavior of Shoaib Akhtar :

After the Pakistan cricket team’s embarrassing performance in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2003, he clashed with the team’s coach, Waqar Younis. He abused Yunus a lot in front of everyone. He was also punished for this. The following year, he also abused South African spinner Paul Adams. As a result, he was banned for one Test and two ODIs. Apart from this, he was also punished for breaking the night curfew during the 2005 tour of Australia.

Shoaib Akhtar was found guilty of ball tampering during the triangular series played in Sri Lanka in 2003. He had tampered with the ball on the field and was caught. He was also banned for this and became the second international cricketer in the world to face a ban for ball tampering.

Found guilty of taking drugs:

Found guilty of taking drugs: In 2006, Shoaib Akhtar was suspended by the Pakistan Cricket Board after he and Mohammad Asif were found guilty of drug use. He was found guilty of taking the performance-enhancing drug nandrolone. Both these players were not even given a chance to play in the 2006 Champions Trophy. After that, some players of the Pakistan team, former captain Inzamam ul Haq and some former high officials claimed that Shoaib Akhtar had been taking drugs for a long time. So Shoaib Akhtar had to face a two-year suspension.

A co-worker beaten by bat:

Mohammad Asif would have been found guilty of consuming acidic substances along with his wife, the crime of beating him up would have come to light. The incident would have happened before the 2007 T20 World Cup when Asif said something in the conversation with Shahid Afridi in the dressing room and Shoaib Akhtar got so upset that he made a noise about Asif’s ban. The investigation ultimately found Akhtar guilty and he was dropped from the T20 World Cup squad. It would have been better to imprison only 5 Samanyas. Later he put the entire blame on Shahid Afridi.

Regarding this matter, the British Airports Authority resend:

In 2008, when he reached England to play county cricket, he had to be flown to Pakistan from the airport, because he had come to play county cricket but with a visit visa and not a working visa. Later it was also revealed that Shoeb was aware of the petitioner but he remained careless and took steps only for the purpose of making peace. He thought that he would dodge the English language, but it did not happen.

In this way, Pakistani players are known for their indiscipline and doing strange things as per their wish.
