Rohan Bopanna was born on 4 March 1980 in Bangalore. Rohan’s father MG Bopanna is a coffee planter while his mother Malika Bopanna is a housewife. Rohan also has an elder sister who lives in Mumbai. His father wanted Rohan to play an individual sport. Rohan was also interested in sports like football and hockey. But by the time he turned 19, tennis became a priority for Rohan. Bopanna started playing tennis at the age of 11. Rohan Bopanna married Supriya Annia in 2012. Both of them have a love marriage. Rohan and Supriya started dating each other since 2010. Supriya was a friend of Rohan’s cousin. Now Rohan and Supriya have a daughter named Tridha Bopanna. Rohan’s wife Supriya is a psychologist by profession. Rohan’s favorite player is Stefan Edberg.

Bopanna is the fourth Indian player to win a Grand Slam. He has won a total of 24 titles in his career so far. In 2017, Rohan Bopanna won the mixed doubles title with Gabriela. Apart from this, he reached the final round of Australian Open in 2018. Similarly, he reached the semi-finals of the 2015 US Open. Bopanna also reached the semi-finals of Wimbledon in 2013 and 2015. In 2010, he was the US Open runner-up. He has a record of 482–359 (57.3) in ATP World Tour and Grand Slam main draw matches and Davis Cup.
